Communist China’s Forced Organ Harvesting Garners Global Attention
This month, Sen. Ted Cruz and Rep. Scott Perry reintroduced legislation known as the Falun Gong Protection Act, targeting China’s forced organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners. The act mandates
- visa- and property-blocking sanctions on involved individuals
- highlights persecution internationally
- urges cooperation with allies for targeted sanctions
It also establishes U.S. policy to avoid cooperation in organ transplants with China while the CCP remains in power. In May 2022, the European Parliament received testimony about these atrocities.
