At a Frisco, Texas track meet, 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony fatally stabbed athlete Austin Metcalf after refusing to move from under another team’s tent. Witnesses said Anthony warned, “Touch me and see what happens.” When Metcalf tried to move him, Anthony stabbed him in the chest. Metcalf died in his twin brother Hunter’s arms. Anthony admitted to the stabbing but claimed self-defense, asking police what it meant. Witnesses confirmed the altercation and rapid escalation. Anthony was arrested and now faces murder charges.
