The Mason County Sheriff’s Office announced the safe recovery of 74-year-old Nancy Bloomquist from Norton Shores after she endured days in harsh Michigan woods.
Her ordeal began when her vehicle caught fire after becoming disabled in a driveway post-visit to the Little River Casino.
Located 150 yards from the burned car, Bloomquist used a fallen tree for shelter amid severe storms.
A collaborative drone search found her alive and speaking Sunday afternoon, five hours after searching commenced.
