Gas Costs at 4-Year Low Before Memorial Day.

Gas prices leading into Memorial Day weekend are at a four-year low, as reported by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). Adjusted for inflation, prices are 14% lower than last year. On Monday, regular-grade gasoline averaged $3.17 per gallon, an 11% decrease from last year. Historically, prices rise from January to May due to increased demand and a shift to summer blends. Despite rising costs, 45.1 million Americans plan to travel at least 50 miles, according to AAA. West Coast prices are down 10% and Gulf Coast prices down 13%.

Lucem News Editor’s Opinion:
The promise of Trump’s agenda is again where it counts, at the gas pumps. While Biden era malfeasance jacked prices up to a national average over $5.00 a gallon, now it’s a little over $3. What a difference. Biden’s handlers wanted to force Americans into electric cars and part of it was to jack up gas prices to levels that were destroying poor families that relied on cars to get to work.

Lucem News Editor’s Opinion:
Looks like Kathy Hochul is as popular in New York as a Yankees fan in Boston—Elise Stefanik’s only one point behind, and Hochul’s approval rating is stuck in the political basement at 30%. New York might be about to trade the woke for the based.

Lucem News Editor’s Opinion:
If you murder foreign diplomats on American soil, you should absolutely face the ultimate penalty—this isn’t a soft-on-crime city council hearing, it’s national security.

Trump’s concerns validated by Biden-era reports on SA farmers.

Biden-era reports and a genocide expert confirm that violence against South African farmers is a critical issue. Despite media debates during Trump’s administration, the issue persists, with a State Department report revealing 748 farm attacks and over 100 killings of white South Africans in 2021-2022. This raises questions about whether the violence is driven by race or greed. Trump emphasized refugees fleeing for safety, land confiscation, and murders, sparking ongoing debates on whether this amounts to genocide.

Lucem News Editor’s Opinion:
Looks like Trump was right—again. While the media mocked his warnings about South African farmers, Biden-era reports are now playing catch-up with reality he pointed out years ago.

Harvard’s foreign student programs terminated amid alleged misconduct.

The Department of Homeland Security has prohibited Harvard University from accepting foreign students.

  • Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced this citing Harvard’s involvement in fostering violence and antisemitism, and links with the Chinese Communist Party.
  • The action terminates Harvard’s Student and Exchange Visitor Program certification for non-compliance with law.
  • Harvard refused to provide requested information about foreign students’ misconduct, leading to this decision.
  • Noem emphasized that enrolling foreign students is a privilege, not a right.

Let this serve as a warning to all academic institutions.

Lucem News Editor’s Opinion:
Harvard just got a failing grade in National Security—apparently diversity and inclusion now includes CCP operatives and violent rule-breakers. Maybe next semester they focus more on patriotism and less on propaganda.
