Doug Emhoff has been dismissed by President Trump from the US Holocaust Memorial Council, along with other Democrats.
Emhoff, who is Jewish, expressed his outrage, stating, “Holocaust remembrance and education should never be politicized.”
In a statement to The Hill, he emphasized that any political interference dishonors the six million Jews murdered by Nazis and stated, “No divisive political decision will ever shake my commitment to Holocaust remembrance and education or to combatting hate and antisemitism.”
