Minnesota AG Keith Ellison faces scrutiny for his support of a Somali children’s charity allegedly involved in a massive COVID funding fraud.
Federal prosecutors charged 47 Somali immigrants with embezzling $250 million in federal COVID aid, funds meant for children were misused for luxury items. Despite an active investigation, Ellison met with charity representatives.
In an op-ed, Ellison states, “if I had known who they were… I never would have agreed to it.” But recordings and past statements raise doubts.
The fraudulent organization, Feeding Our Future, defrauded millions meant for COVID relief under Governor Tim Walz’s administration.

That’s like letting the fox coordinate the hen house… shady, and yet Democrats call it “community outreach”.
