NOAA’s Okeanos Explorer conducted six expeditions from May to November 2024, mapping over 251,000 km² of seafloor in the Pacific Islands region. This effort supports marine conservation and scientific research.

- Engagement: Telepresence technology allowed real-time participation from scientists and the public.
Data collected will be publicly available within 90–120 days, fostering further exploration and stewardship of ocean resources.
