The multi-billion dollar federal Job Corps program has become a breeding ground for crime and sexual assaults. It pays hardened criminals and runaway teens to co-exist in dorms, leading to numerous incidents of violence. Run by the Department of Labor, the program encompasses 131 facilities aimed at providing education and trade certification to low-income individuals aged 16-24. However, data reveals that these centers resemble a mix of a prison and a college. In the last three years alone, more than 500 sexual assaults have been reported across these facilities, raising serious concerns.
