Mavious Redmond, 54, from Austin, Minnesota, pleaded guilty to a significant Social Security fraud scheme lasting 25 years.

She stole hundreds of thousands of dollars by submitting false applications, repeatedly forging her mother’s signature, and exploiting policies designed for retirees. Redmond’s audacity was highlighted by prosecutors as she revisited the Social Security Administration multiple times in June 2024 to perpetuate her scam. The scheme was investigated by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
