The FBI has arrested a 19-year-old college student, Owen McIntire, for allegedly setting fire to two Tesla Cybertrucks using homemade Molotov cocktails at a Kansas City Tesla Center.
- Charged with unlawful possession of an unregistered destructive device.
- Also charged for malicious damage by fire of property used in interstate commerce.
Attorney General Pamela Bondi warned against such attacks, stating perpetrators will face decades behind bars. The incident, observed by a police officer, resulted in two vehicles worth over $100,000 being damaged.
