Re-enlistment After Vaccine Refusal Comes with Challenging Stipulations

Apr 13, 2025 | Elections, Government, Security

Service members discharged for rejecting the COVID-19 vaccine have an opportunity to re-enlist, detailed in a Department of Defense brief. However, there’s a significant challenge specifically for former Air National Guard members, which might deter many from returning. Despite the chance to resume military careers, the requirement to achieve a seemingly impossible task casts doubt on full participation.
